Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta came from a good italian family, that resided in Manhattan, New York. There she attened Convent of the Sacred Heart, which was a private school. She then later studied at University's Tisch School of Arts.
This theatrical dance pop princess/singer/songwriter/pianoist first began making a name for herself in the underground of New York. At the age of 20 she began being a songwriter for Interscope records, and wrote songs for famous artsits such as The Pussycat Dolls. Several years later she then wanted to branch out and became as solo artist. She later released her chart topping single "Just Dance" in the early 2008. Her debut album title "The fame" was issued in the United States later that year. Its Grammy-nomianted success paved the way for a U.K. release in early 2009
Some of her influences are glam rockers such as David Bowie and Queen, as well as the one and only 80's dance pop queen herself, Madonna and the king of Pop Micheal Jackson.
Her music contiues to make people dance all over the states. With her feirce attitude and sounds and her catchey lyrics this girl plans to take it all the way. Now that her first single has dropped and her album is relesed I'm hungry for another single to hit the radio. What about you? Listen to her music and tell me which track should hit the radio next. Wow she sounds like an accomplished young women...why is she singing an annoying song like "just dance"?...I hope she turns something around with some more songs.
ReplyDeleteI listened to "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich", and it was alright. I'm not a big fan of like, popish music so it wasn't really my style. When I listen to "Just Dance", it sounds like she says "gotta doo doo", and I can't get over that, hahaha! I know that's not what she says but I can't help but think of that everytime I hear it. I really like your blog though.
ReplyDeleteI think " just dance " is super annoying. I've heard some more of her songs and they're all just kind of songs you'd only listen to on a friday night in your car going to the club.
ReplyDeletethey're fun, but I definitely wouldn't listen to them regularly.
